About Us

I have been an ASHA certified speech-language pathologist (SLP) since 2013.  I have worked with children of all ages and abilities.  I love getting to know each client and seeing their strengths.

Being an SLP is something I am passionate about because I have seen the confidence and power that comes to children as they find their unique voice.  A voice that is empowered to say NO!  A voice that can tell jokes to their friends.  A voice that expresses joy.

The idea of Treasured Words was inspired by the book I Wish You More by Amy Krouse Rosenthal. This book is one that is cherished in our household.  It encompasses a spectrum of well-wishes and advice on how to live well-rounded life.  It encourages one to contribute to the happiness of others and enjoy the beautifully simplistic aspects in our lives.

 

Treasured Words was born from that notion.  To do good for our clients.  To encourage and build them up.  To appreciate the relationships we have and to create moments that are MORE.  We hope you will join us in that journey.

When I do not have my SLP hat on,  I love being a mother of three girls and relish the "more pause than fast-forward" moments with them.   We love taking walks, tea parties, swimming, and giggling as we do oh-la-la spa days, face painting and having dance parties.
